Treatment at Sri Satya Sai Oral Health Center & Dental Clinic is given by Dr. D. Rama Raju, BDS, MDS, who has practised in Chaitanyapuri since 1999. Every treatment is explained, with its options and cost, before we begin.

Braces and clear aligners: how it is done at our clinic

1. Consultation with face and teeth photos, and X-rays (OPG and cephalogram at an imaging centre).
2. A digital scan with the Runyes scanner; the treatment plan and expected time are explained.
3. Cleaning and treatment of any decay or gum problems before starting.
4. Braces: brackets are bonded to the teeth and wires fitted, with adjustments about every 4–6 weeks.
5. Clear aligners: a digital plan from your scan, and a series of aligners changed every 1–2 weeks, with regular check-ups.
6. When the teeth are in place, the bite is checked and fine-tuned.
7. Retainers keep the teeth from moving back; regular review visits.

Clean and safe

Used instruments are soaked in disinfectant and cleaned. They are packed and sealed in sterilisation pouches with a colour-change indicator. The pouches go through a steam autoclave cycle; the indicator changes colour to show the cycle was complete. Pouches are opened in front of you, at the chair, for your treatment.
